Overview
Pipixel is a pipe puzzle game developed by Joon, an independent developer. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your data. The short version: your game progress stays on your device. We use third-party advertising and offer in-app purchases, both of which are detailed below.
Data Collection and Storage
Pipixel stores game progress — including completed levels, star ratings, and hint balance — locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Pipixel does not collect, store, or process any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
- Location data
- Photos, contacts, or other device content
There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no server-side storage of any kind.
Advertising
Pipixel displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve relevant ads, including:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address (for approximate location and fraud prevention)
- App usage data (ad interactions, impressions)
On iOS, the app requests your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any tracking for advertising purposes. You can change this permission at any time in your device settings.
On Android, you can opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
You may purchase an ad-free experience through the in-app "Remove Ads" option, which permanently disables all advertising in the app.

In-App Purchases
Pipixel offers in-app purchases (hint packs and ad removal) managed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). All payment processing is handled by the respective platform. Pipixel does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, account credentials, or billing details.

Third-Party Services
Pipixel integrates the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — Ad serving (see Advertising section above)
- Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing — In-app purchase processing
No other third-party analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are used.
Children's Privacy
Pipixel does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app itself does not collect personal data. Third-party advertising shown in the app is subject to Google AdMob's policies regarding child-directed content.
Data Retention and Deletion
All game progress is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by deleting the app. To reset your advertising identifier, use your device's privacy settings.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
